can mean many different things to different people. Definitions, approaches, and perceptions vary according to organizational structure, IT estate status, available technology, and past experiences, to name a few.

We wanted to learn more about the specifics of application modernization across organizations and regions. We asked IT decision makers, back-end developers, and software architects about their application modernization priorities, challenges, and plans, and how they define success.
