Amazon Shipping commissioned Triangle to survey 600 e-commerce customers across the UK, France, Italy, and Spain to understand their changing needs, wants, and concerns when it comes to retail delivery during peak season. Despite the many challenges customers and retailers alike faced in 2022, it’s heartening to see that 51% of customers surveyed noted an increase in their online purchases in peak 2022 compared to 2021. With an increase in purchases, also comes higher expectations for retailers and their delivery partners to provide a seamless, fast, and transparent parcel delivery journey. This builds on the need for retailers to place added importance on the last mile of their customer journey and experience.
