The pandemic has reshaped how and where employees choose to work. The last two years have influenced IT business decision-makers to refresh their office spaces —including reconceptualizing desk usage to support employees as they transitioned from fully remote to hybrid work. Our research in 2021 found that external monitors were critical in enabling effective hybrid work across home, in-office, and hot-desk workstation arrangements.1
